Hi everyone, it's Dr. Jill! I wanted to reach out to you all and let you know the latest update regarding the coronavirus pandemic. We are now implementing a cautious re-opening of our office with strict precautions. Our goal is to continue to provide excellent care in the safest environment possible. We will continue to monitor and implement recommendations of the ADA, CDA, CDC. We are doing our best working on rescheduling during this time and want to thank you all for how wonderful and patient you have been. We are hoping to reach all of you by either phone call, text message, or email to keep you updated.
In order to keep everyone safe, we are implementing the following additional procedures at our office. Masks are required for anyone entering our office. Please also maintain a minimum of 6-feet of social distancing. A guardian must accompany the patient to sign a screening and consent form. When you arrive at our office, please wait outside the front door. A staff member will greet you, take your temperature (100.4 F or over will need to be rescheduled), and give the screening and consent form. If possible, please only send the patient to the door. If you would like a guardian to accompany the patient, only one guardian will be allowed and they will also need to be screened to come back for the appointment. We will spread out and stagger appointments as much as possible to limit the number of people in our office. We will also have a reduced staff in our office with some working from home. We will strive to continue to have excellent communication with you. At the end of your appointment, you will receive a "report card" form for your visit and will call you as needed to review.
If you are a new patient or someone who has not yet started braces and you are scheduled for a 6-month or 12-month check, there is a possibility that your appointment may be moved out a little bit further to make sure we are able to see those that are currently in braces as we are likely going to be catching up on that schedule.
Please keep in mind that if you, any family members, or anyone you have had contact with is experiencing symptoms of coronavirus, we will need to reschedule. Symptoms include fever, cough, shortness of breath and other flu-like symptoms. Additionally, if you have recently traveled out of the country, the CDC and State of Colorado are recommending that you self-quarantine for 14 days.
Thank you all for being so understanding and I will do everything I can to keep you all informed and make this time as smooth as possible. Stay safe everyone and enjoy this time with your loved ones, thank you!
